2016 Wahluke Slope Syrah
This Syrah shows its intensity and vibrancy as you pour it into the glass. Presenting a deep purple color, with rich aromas of ripe blackberry and plums. Vibrant flavors of fresh berries, crisp plum, cedar, and toasted nuts fill your mouth, as you discover integrated tannins and a round lengthy finish. This wine is delicious now but can be cellared for 5-7 years. Pairing this wine with a hearty braised chicken stew, Coq au Vin. A roasted leg of lamb or Osso Bucco, braised veal shanks. The old stand by is a lovely steak with mushrooms.

"Coming from the Los Oidos vineyard, the 2017 Malbec Los Oidos is almost opaque with an electric pink rim. The nose bursts with intensity and is jam-packed with elements of spiced plum compote, dark cherry and black raspberry preserves. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is delineated, lifted and delightful, showing a balanced mouthfeel with buttressing and energetic tannins. Concluding with a long-winding and evolving finish, this 600-bottle production is sure to deliver pleasure. I see barbecue in my future with this wine. Give it a try."
